Information You Submit
Search forms send the name, phone number, or address entered to the outside provider that supplies results. Our own servers do not retain a copy of those queries. Messages sent to us contain only what the sender chooses to provide, and that information is used to answer the message.
Automatic Technical Data
Standard hosting logs may record an IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps. Aggregated log data helps maintain the site and identify useful pages. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where used.
How the Data Is Used
That limited data supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We do not sell visitor lists or assemble individual user profiles.
Privacy on Linked Sites
Government portals, county and state offices, library collections, and outside search providers apply their own privacy rules. Information entered after following a link is governed by the destination. Sponsored search results are also supplied by an outside company.
Limited Data Sharing
Service providers that host and support this site process server logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We will disclose data if a valid legal process requires it. We do not otherwise share visitor data.
How We Protect Your Data
The site is served over an encrypted connection. We retain server logs only as long as needed for the purposes above. Because we do not run accounts, there is no password or profile of yours to breach on this site.
Users Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
California Privacy Rights
Depending on the law that applies, a visitor may have rights involving personal data held by a website. Because this site keeps very little, a request generally involves checking contact messages and available server logs. Use the Contact page to submit one. Government records held by San Ramon, Contra Costa County, or California agencies remain outside our control, so their custodians must handle correction or access requests. California’s Delete Act, Senate Bill 362, Chapter 709 of the 2023 Statutes, also created the CPPA DROP route for deletion requests to registered data brokers.
Updates to This Policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
